Carmel, Ind. — Alex Taylor will help fraternities and sororities across North America take their marketing efforts to the next level. Alex joins Innova as a full-time Marketing Strategist this week after spending 5 years at Sigma Nu Fraternity headquarters.

“I’m excited and humbled to be joining the team at Innova,” Alex said. “I believe in the power of strategic marketing, and believe in the work Innova is doing to modernize the Greek community. My hope is to bring even more energy to our work as we target the best and brightest students for our organizations. I understand the challenging work that Greek professionals and student leaders do everyday, and hope we can partner with them to deliver high-quality, results-driven marketing solutions.”

A graduate of Huntingdon College, where he was a founding father of his home chapter of Sigma Nu, Alex joins Innova after serving Sigma Nu headquarters as Director of Expansion and Recruitment. During his time working for his fraternity, he led 10 colonization efforts that recruited over 500 men.

“With his expansion and recruitment expertise, we wanted to find a creative way to maximize his impact,” said Jessica Gendron Williams, CEO of Innova and its sister company, Phired Up Productions. “Alex will spend about 20% of his time with our Phired Up team providing expansion and recruitment education and coaching. His marketing and recruitment abilities are an amazing addition to our staff, and a huge added benefit for our clients.”

As a marketer, Alex is experienced and well studied. While at Sigma Nu he implemented a number of technology and marketing innovations that yielded significant increases in interest from key target student audiences on a number of campuses. He has been an industry leader among fraternity expansion professionals, and joins Innova ready to immediately serve the entire fraternity/sorority industry.

Alex added, “Marketing is essential to every organization, Greek organizations are no different. The issues we face in fraternities and sororities can be overcome if, and only if, the right individuals are being attracted and joining our organizations. One of the strongest criticisms of Greek Life, private membership, is actually one of our hidden strengths. We decide the people who enter into our organizations! I plan to work each day to ensure the best students are being pulled towards our chapters. I’m excited to get to work.”

Alex’s first day was Friday, May 26th. He will be attending the Fraternity Executives Association conference this week in Tampa, Florida and representing Innova. He’s already making an impact for several clients by providing a unique brand of strategic marketing thought.
